The 5 Cars That Pay the Most Marchamo in Costa Rica

Costa Rica News – Each of the following cars are way outside my pay grade.  I think they are outside my pay grade to even rent.  But if you can afford these vehicles the mandatory yearly Marchamo amount might not be that much for you.

2012 Lexus LFA2012 Lexus LFA

The car features a v10 engine and goes from 0 to 100 km/h in a short 3.7 seconds.  The top speed is about 325 km/h.  The value is normally about $400,00o and is Lexus’ supercar.

The Costa Rica taxable value of this vehicle is about $520,000 and the Marchamo for this year is about $18,000.

2015 Ferrari 458 Spider

This V8 is a beauty by Ferarri.  The 458 Spider is the folding-hardtop convertible version of Ferrari’s magnificent 458 Italia coupe.

You can try to avoid those Costa Rica potholes by going 0 to 100 lm/h is 3.4 seconds.

The Costa Rica taxable value of this vehicle is about $410,000 and the Marchamo for this year is about $14,200.

2013 Ferrari 458 Spider

This would be parked in my garage unless I was using it for a sequel of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

In the world of 2013 mid-engine exotics, it doesn’t get much better than the Ferrari 458 Italia and Spider. Stunning levels of performance derived from Ferrari’s lifetime involvement in Formula 1 give the 458 a distinctive edge over rival supercars like the Lamborghini Gallardo and Audi R8 V10 Plus.

You can street race those 2000 Honda Civics by going 0 to 100 lm/h is 3.4 seconds.

The Costa Rica taxable value of this vehicle is about $500,000 and the Marchamo for this year is about $17,500.

2014 Mercedes Benz SLS AMG GT

One is created when Mercedes’ in-house AMG performance shop tires of building mere 500-plus-hp commuters and pumps out something that packs the fury and power of a supernova. The 2014 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series is the fifth car to earn the badge.

I would not want to be driving this around downtown San Jose after about 10 pm.  you would end up walking home.

But if someone tries to steal it you can most likely get away going 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.

The Costa Rica taxable value of this vehicle is about $300,000 and the Marchamo for this year is about $10,500.

2013 Mercedes Benz SL 65 AMG

The engine is also fitted with two turbos, but it features a single cam atop each head and three valves per cylinder.

This is a great car to outrun the police in Costa Rica.

The vehicle has a V12 engine and a top speed of 320 km / hand do not forget it goes from0-100 km / h in 3.8 seconds.

The Costa Rica taxable value of this vehicle is about $285,000 and the Marchamo for this year is about $9,800.
