Costa Rica Travel News – In Costa Rica, there are two beautiful coasts and Lake Arenal to sail. Each region offers unique waters and a variety of companies available to help you explore them. There are a few special companies that have standards above the rest.
In Guanacaste’s Playa Flamingo there is Gold Coast Charters. They offer sailing and snorkeling under the sunset on Hibiscus, a luxury boat. You may even have a wedding aboard this luxury sailboat as you cruise the northwest region of Costa Rica’s Pacific coast.
Another company on the Pacific side of Costa Rica is called Blue Dolphin. They offer day charters on a 40-foot sailing catamaran. The boat is custom made and includes trampolines on board. You can expect to see turtles, rays, dolphins, or whales on your adventure.
For a sailing experience on the lake, check out the Turtle Cove Lake & Yacht Club. The beautiful lake climate offers 80 degree weather with green grass and abundant wildlife. Arenal Lake is great for windsurfing or sailing. Birdwatchers love to quietly sail with a camera in hand to capture images of rare species.
The Caribbean region is most known for beautiful coral reef. Caribe Shuttle Company offers a sailing tour that starts in Costa Rica’s southern Caribbean region where bottlenose dolphins come to mate and continues through the home of sponge coral, brittle stars, tropical fish, and sea anemones, until reaching Bocas del Toro, Panama. They sail back in the same day.
