Costa Rica News & Events – Finding something to do in Costa Rica is never a problem; from surfing to wine tasting there is something for everyone to do. The month of October brings wine lovers together for the 2013 Wine Expo Costa Rica. It is an event for people who enjoy wine, who would like to learn more about wine or want to explore the different selections of that Costa Rica can offer.
This year is the fourth edition of the Wine Expo and is hosted by Apetito, a magazine focused on hotels, restaurants and business. People attending this event can expect a selection of wines from over eighty vendors form all over the world. Wines from Chile, Argentina, France, Italy, United States and other countries will be presented for people to enjoy.
In addition to bringing all these distributors and wine lovers together, the Expo is focused on sharing the culture of wine. Activities include professional experts in the world of wine who will be providing information about wine. Visitors can expect a exhibit guide with all the information of the vendors to better help guide people through the different types of wine sections.
The event will take place at the Hotel Real Intercontinental and Club Tower located in the Capitol of Costa Rica, San Jose. Is a two-day event open to the public and expected to be a success. Thursday October 24 and Friday October 25, 2013 from 3:00-9:00PM the Wine Expo will be hosting people from all over the world with the intension of exposing the different wines that can be found while living or traveling in Costa Rica and teaching about the culture of wine.
Cover charge for the event depends on the tickets you purchase. The starting price for general entrance fee is $55 US dollars. Another option is the two-day general admission for $99 US dollars. There are other packets that include a dinner and or hotel accommodations that can be found on the website.
Wine is a natural alcoholic beverage made from fermented grapes that can be paired with different foods to better enjoy the wine. The preference between red or white wine is based on people’s preference and learning about multiple selections can only benefit those who enjoy a glass of wine. The 2013 Wine Expo is a great opportunity to socialize and meet other people who like to drink wine.
