Costa Rica News – (Surf Report May 29th to May 30th) – We are going to give you the surf forecast for Costa Rica and we have our beautiful pictures of girls in bikinis. This weekend expect fun waves on the Pacific side and Caribbean sides of Costa Rica on Friday but the swell diminishes Saturday. We have also added surf video from Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica.
North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: The South swell will start to ease on Friday while the SW swell holds. Look for chest-head high+ surf at the good exposures over the next couple days, with standout spots producing occasional overhead sets. Select South swell magnets will see occasional waves up to a couple feet overhead on Thursday, which will be most prominent during the more favorable tides. NOTE – The Galapagos will partially shadow the SW energy for the southern half of Costa.
WEATHER/WIND: Most areas will see a typical diurnal wind pattern through the next couple days. Look for calm to very light/variable to locally light offshore wind for the early to mid mornings (depending on the specific spot), before a moderate onshore seabreeze gradually develops over the late morning hours and into each afternoon. Good chance for the wind to back off in the evenings for a glassoff at many locations before dark, especially the more sheltered/tucked away spots.
Friday 05/29 – 1.2-1.5m – shoulder to head high occ. 1.8m – South swell starts to ease while the SW swell holds.
Saturday 05/30 – 0.9-1.5m waist to head high – SW swell holds while the South swell eases.

Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the early part of next week. Light and variable north-northwest winds, Increasing later and switching to the east-northeast.

Saturday 05/30 – 0.6-0.9m – Ankle to waist – Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable northwest winds, Increasing later and switching to the north-northeast.
