Costa Rica News – (Surf Report July 19th and 20th) – We are going to give you the surf forecast for Costa Rica and add in some pictures of beautiful surf girls in bikinis. This weekend has some great waves with a swell hitting the Pacific side of Coast Rica and the Caribbean side of Costa Rica from July 19th to July 20th. We have also added live surf video from Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica.
FRIDAY: SW swell peaks with overhead to several feet+ overhead waves for exposures, as top breaks see more size on sets.
WEATHER/WIND: Look for light/variable wind for the early mornings, with a moderate onshore SW/WSW seabreeze developing over the mid to late mornings and into each afternoon. NOTE – Passing or nearby showers and thunderstorms can temporarily affect/change local wind conditions.
Friday 07/19 – 1.8-2.4m+ – head high + to 3 ft overhead – Long period SW swell continues building; better sets at standouts
Saturday 07/20– 1.5-2.4m – head high to 3 ft overhead – SW swell continues; plus sets for top breaks

Moderate short period wind waves from the east-northeast rising later in the early part of next week. Light and variable east-southeast winds, increasing rapidly later and switching to the east-northeast.
Friday 07/19 – 1.8-2.1m – Shoulder high to 0.5m overhead – Moderate mid period swell from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable west-southwest winds, increasing rapidly later and switching to the east-northeast.
Saturday 07/20– 1.5-1.8m – Head high to 0.3m overhead – Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable west-southwest winds, increasing rapidly later and switching to the northeast.
