Taking inspiration from renowned international horror festivals, such as Spain’s Festival de Sitges, Costa Rica now proudly showcases its rendition with the Corrosive Film Fest. Just like Sitges celebrates the fantasy and horror genres, San José aims to replicate the immersive experience.

Marking its second edition, the Corrosive Film Fest promises a 9-day marathon from September 1st to 9th. The festival features:

- 70 short films
- 17 exclusive events
These hair-raising events are spread across three prime venues: Sala Garbo, Shakespeare Pub, and the Centro Cultural de España. With a jam-packed schedule of screenings, discussions, and terror-themed activities, there’s never a dull moment.
