Costa Rica News – (Surf Report January 21st & 22nd) – We are going to give you the surf forecast for Costa Rica and we have Costa Rica surf pics. There are going to be some small sets rolling on the Pacific side & the Caribbean side of Costa Rica is going to have some fun waves rolling in with the occasional overhead set. North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: Minor S/SW swell mix with surf generally below waist high. NW swell builds, but generally passes by (rideable/fun in North CR).
WEATHER/WIND: Light/variable flow prevails in the mornings, winds trending light-light+ onshore as a sea-breeze develops each afternoon.
Friday 01/21 – 1-3ft – ankle to waist high – Leftover SSW swell. Minimal NW pulse.
Saturday 01/22 – 1-2ft – knee to thigh high occ. 3ft – Minimal S swell. Minor NW pulse.

Moderate mid period swell from the east-northeast falling later in the next few days. Light southwest winds and switching to the east-northeast. Small mid period swell from the east-northeast falling slightly during the early part of next week. Light and variable southeast winds later and switching to the east.
Friday 01/21 – 5-6ft – Head high to 1ft overhead – Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable west-southwest winds all day and switching to the east-northeast.
Saturday 01/22– 3-4ft – Knee to shoulder – Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable south-southwest winds, Increasing later and switching to the east.
