North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: SW/SSW swell continues in the waist-head high+ surf for well exposed spots, as best breaks see plus sets.
WEATHER/WIND: Variable to locally light offshore flow early will trend onshore through the mornings, giving way to a light to moderate SW’erly sea-breeze in the afternoons. Winds may ease for parts of the coast, offering a cleanup in the evenings.
Friday 08/12 – 3-5ft – waist to head high occ. 6ft – SW/SSW swell continues – few larger sets for focal points.
Saturday 08/13 – 3-5ft – waist to head high – SW/SSW swell holds.

Moderate short period wind waves from the east-northeast falling later in the next few days. Light and variable west winds until Saturday and switching to the north-northwest. Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the early part of next week. Light and variable south-southwest winds later and switching to the east-northeast.
