Costa Rica Entertainment – Daniel Dhers and Kenneth Tencio are no strangers to bizarre riding spots but when Red Bull asked them to take their street riding skills inside the Duran Sanatorium in Cartago, Costa Rica for Red Bull Haunted Ride, it was a very different proposition.
Nestled in the mountains an hours drive from the country’s capital, San Jose, the sprawling sanatorium was built in 1915 and now stands, largely, abandoned.
It operated as a home for tuberculosis and mental health patients before stints as both an orphanage and a prison.
All manner of spooky spectres are seen floating through the building or wandering it’s abandoned corridors.
It’ll take more than ghouls and phantoms though to put off Dhers and Tencio though, and after a handful of days of building and filming the above video appeared larger than life!
